DHO, Humanitarian Organization (DHO) is a non-profit organization. The activity of the organization is Peace promotion, Improving Agriculture, livestock, Environmental and rehabilitation of social infrastructure, human right, as well as responding emergencies.

DHO was first founded on 1991 by a group of Somali intellectuals after realizing the need of elite back-up in the development stages in out-spoken voice representing the community words, with the aim of promoting the civil societies engagement and developing Diinsor community grass-roots who entirely need the promotion.

The main aim establishment of the organization by the gathered intellectual was at first to target the restoration of peace in the country as well as the region as the most key factor which contribute to accelerate excessive poverty and un- development which lead the grass-root level people to act nothing but idling. The fact remain that it is extremely difficult to carry out meaningful and fruitful development work for the poor and needy community under situation of conflict. DHO is registered and recognized by the TFG of Somalia and received legal authority.

DHO will manage and scale-up intervention in Health, Nutrition, Water/sanitation and Hygiene promotion and continue to focus on similar priority area such as Education Child protection and food insecurity in the area of the southern Somalia..
